Cosmic Villains

XOXOX 

The inter-dimensional menace XOXOX came to Earth in the 1970s to drain the world of all its souls. After a fierce battle involving most of Earth's extant super-beings, XOXOX was defeated and permanently neutered by the telepathic young girl - a counter-culture heroine named Mary Gold, aka Flower Child. From that point on XOXOX pledged his existence to spread love and happiness to the world. Little did Flower Child imagine that her simple act would cause the world so much annoyance in the future.

Once feared as the destroyer of nine universes, XOXOX is now on a mission of peace and love. Wherever he travels, XOXOX declares “HUGS AND KISSES!” and uses his planetary-scale mind-control powers to force the inhabitants to fall in love with each other in random combinations. When he leaves, all is returned to status quo, leaving awkward memories for the inhabitants.

XENIX 

XENIX is an alien force of pure energy. It has the ability to telekinetically control anything powered by electricity. XENIX will take control and animate any electrical device or appliance, turning it into a murderous extension of its will. XENIX often assembles bits of metal and wire into a humanoid avatar in order to interact with its enemies directly. The true insidiousness of XENIX is its ability to replicate itself. XENIX creates an army of weaker copies of itself which it uses to conquer planet after planet, leaving a powerful bug subordinate copy in charge. Any small part of XENIX can survive and regenerate in order to eventually create a new XENIX.

XENIX goal is to terminate all organic life in the universe. XENIX is a galactic scourge that has so far ignored Earth but it is only a matter of time before its techno-spores arrive on our world.

XANAX 
XANAX was once the mailed fist of the inter-dimensional being known as XOXOX. Both hail from the same parallel continuum known as Dimension-X. The two travel from universe to universe, draining the emotions of the inhabitants of each before moving on, leaving nothing but soulless slaves in their wake.

XANAX served his master with super-strength, flight, super-speed, pyrokinesis, cryokinesis, and invulnerability, for not only do XANAX's powers mirror the Guardian's in every way, they come from the same extra-dimensional source.

XOXOX and XANAX's arrival on Earth in the 1970's was foretold to the Guardian years earlier. Guardian had time to assemble and train the galaxy's mightiest heroes to stand up to the dire threat posed to the entire universe. Ultimately, XOXOX was defeated by the counter-culture hero known as the Flower Child, who was able to use her mind-altering powers to convince XOXOX to instead spread love and joy throughout the multi-verse.

XANAX, however, was defeated by the Guardian and imprisoned in ice on the planet Pluto. There he remains to this day. The planet is quarantined by intergalactic agreement. It is feared that any energy that might raise the temperature of XANAX's tomb above absolute zero might be enough to awaken what might still be the greatest threat Earth has ever faced.
