ULTRAS

Upon graduating Francis Gary Powers High School, the members of the Ultra-Teens were denied entry into DEFENDERS. The team disbanded and went their separate ways.

They continued fighting crime individually, occasionally meeting in their civilian guises for small reunions and parties. 

However, events have conspired to reunite them. Fairy Princess has called them together. The new team would be called ULTRAS- Urban Light Tactical Response Action Squad.  They would go on lower-priority missions for DEFENDERS.

Kid America

Knight Templar

After high school, Sammy Ritter went to college. However, he never put aside the mantle of Knight Protector. He had trouble defending Pacific City and maintaining his studies. He dropped out halfway through his freshman year after completing only two quarters.

Five years later, he spends the majority of his time as Knight Templar. His constant vigilance and dedication to the city's defense has begun to take its toll. He has trouble sleeping and has let his friendships fall to the wayside as he focuses on his superheroic persona full time. In his own words, "There is no rest, there are no vacations, there is only the constant struggle." 

El Fuego Negro

Juan Pedro Munoz moved to Mexico city with his family and completed his high school education.  He attended the University of Mexico UNAM studying Archaeology and Art History of the Aztecs.  Feeling a growing desire to learn about the Aztec people, he focused on religious practices and culture of the people from whom he descended.  He is currently working on his Master’s Degree. 

He continued acting as El Fuego Negro during his final year in High School but retired the persona after graduation. One year into his college education, his sister, a heroic agent of DEFENDERS, convinced him to return to the persona to assist her on various missions. 

As he learned more about his Aztec origins of his powers, Juan's heroic persona began to evolve. He created a persona with a more Aztec influenced design. Juan himself also began to mature. He became more muscular and athletic. He grew his hair long and grew a short beard. 

Juan is currently working on his Bachelor's Degree and adopting his heroic persona part-time.

The Kid Vespa 

After high school, Johnny Shakespeare invented a technology that allowed him to create force fields out of photons. He was able to program these fields into complex shapes and devices. The field itself is generated from a special garment he wears underneath his clothes called the V-Suit. The V-Suit is currently capable of creating an advanced high-speed motorcycle and a suit of strength-augmenting armor. 

Mothma
Mothma is the daughter of Mothman, a legendary creature from rural West Virginia. Like her father, Mothma possesses camouflage abilities that allow her to assume a human form. In her moth form, she can fly and control moths. Her bulbous eyes are strangely luminous and are capable of hypnosis. In her human form she appears as a young human girl with white hair. Her wings take the form of a cape of brown felt. She is shy and awkward and knows little of human customs, though she is eager to learn.
